This song was recorded at The Studio in Portland, Maine. OMNIsound in Nashville. Ben Blank Studio, Austin to Boston Studio and some mix down at Garagemahal in Austin, Texas. In the full version of May 25th. I refer to this song in sections. The intro is first and consists of guitars, bass, piano, harpsichord and tuba. I intend to add piccolo at a later point. This intro leads into to the first vocal section. There are 4 vocal sections which are each followed by a chorus and then an instrumental section. The first vocal section is a little thin right now because I pulled out a piano which is to be replaced with more guitar, bass and some high hums from a young female. So I refer to this as the guitar and bass section. It is followed by the first chorus section which consists of guitars, basses, piano and clarinet. It also has small amounts of sax which I may pull out later. It is followed by the instrumental section which has guitars, basses, mandolin, tenor alto and baritone sax. This is then followed by the second vocal section. This consists of guitars, basses, piano and harpsichord. It is followed by the second chorus section which consists of guitars, basses, piano, clarinet and tenor clarinet. Following this is the second instrumental section. It consists of guitars, basses, mandolin and tenor alto and baritone sax. This leads into the third vocal section. It consists of guitars, basses, piano and french horns. Later on trumpet and coronet will be added. That is why some notes seem sparse and short. The trumpet and coronet will fill these gaps in which are intentional. This is followed by the third chorus section. It consists of guitars, basses, piano, clarinet, tenor and bass clarinet. This is followed by the third instrumental section which consists of guitars, basses, mandolin and tenor alto and baritone sax. This leads into the fourth and last vocal section. It consists of guitars, basses, piano and a full string section consisting of double bass, cello, viola and violin. I had them play once and then again one octave above so as to add more substance to the sound. I then brought in the violinist again and had her play two soloing violins over that. This section also has pennywhistle in it as well. This is followed by the fourth and last chorus section. It consists of It now consists of guitars, basses, piano, clarinet, tenor and bass clarinet. In the future baritone will be added. I also will add reed organ to this last section at a later time. The lead section is last. I depart and take off in another direction. It is sparse and scattered enough to make it interesting. A bit too long but I enjoy it that way... Drums too of course. there are 6 and 12 string guitars in both acoustic and electric. In some areas there are up to 3 basses playing at once. I intend to go to Ireland and add celtic harp to either take the place of or be added to the high piano notes in the chorus sections. Some of those notes are a little off and need to be fixed anyway. I can probably play them better at this point. I am lucky that the studio in Portland has a piano. I played piano, harpsichord, lead guitar, lead bass and vocals in this song. I will play rhythm guitar and bass on the first vocal section as well.
